How to borrow Airtime from Mtn Nigeria

Borrowing airtime on your MTN is easy now by just dialing *606# this service is called MTN Xtratime, before you can borrow from MTN you make sure you a regular customer that buys card monthly above 500 naira.

After dialing the code you should see the following information on your screen:

  1. Eligibility Status
  2. Request airtime
  3. XtraTime Balance
  4. XtraTime History
  5. XtraCash
  6. Next

MTN has even given you a means to check if you are eligible to borrow airtime from them also. To borrow airtime on MTN select 2 then select the amount of airtime you want on the list available to you.

The list might defer if you load more than 2000naira monthly you might have more options you can borrow maybe close to 1000 naira.

MTN will charge you 10% of the borrowed airtime, just like if you borrow 50 naira they will deduct 10 naira.

How to borrow Airtime from 9Mobile (Etisalat)

9Mobile also have minimum requirement you need to meet in order for you to borrow airtime from them also which is above 1000 naira.

9Mobile will charge you 10% also when you borrow airtime from them.

To borrow airtime from 9mobile dial *665# or *665*AMOUNT# when you dial *665# you will see different options to choose from.

  1. Get the highest amount you can borrow
  2. Choose loan amount
  3. Check eligibility
  4. Check loan balance
  5. Deactivate loan
  6. Activate loan

Select 2 to choose a loan amount which you borrow from 9Mobile.

How to borrow Airtime from Airtel Nigeria

Like I said without been an active customer you can’t enjoy this benefit from any network in Nigeria you need to be an active customer to enjoy this feature.

Airtel says you must be an active customer close to 3 month in order to borrow data from airtel network, you must also load a minimum of 500 naira monthly to be eligible for this offer.

Airtel deducts 10% for service charge from every airtime you borrow you from them, dial *500# or *500*AMOUNT# to borrow airtime from airtel.

How to borrow Airtime from Glo Nigeria

Glo also allows you borrow airtime from them, you must be an active customer on Glo without that you can’t borrow any dime from Glo.

Dial *321*AMOUNT# to borrow, Glo method seems a little easy you just insert the amount you want to borrow from them and you get credited.

Also note that Glo will deduct its own service charge of 10% from the amount of airtime you loaded
